Saturday – Begin with some basic quilting skills and use your sewing machine to sew several quilting units and blocks. Sunday – Using units and blocks created on Sat, assemble and quilt a small table topper or table runner with Connie Terry at the Lodge
Bead Embroidery: Project Workshop
Our very first bead embroidery project class! Just in time to learn to make holiday gifts with this art form. Students may choose to make a pendant or earrings…a first step toward future more complex projects. Prerequisite (above) required. Taught by Diana Yum-Bucher in the Lodge

Basics of Bead Embroidery (prerequisite to Bead Embroidery Project Classes)
The art and techniques of hand stitching tiny beads and gemstones to textiles!
Create a sampler of basic bead embroidery stitches as a reference for future creations. Learn to sew lines, fill in spaces, create textures, finish edges, etc. After this “basics” workshop you will be able to advance to more difficult stitches or projects. You will be able to look at a piece of bead embroidery and identify the stitches used, and understand how it was made.
