Diana (Tensaw, AL) is a teacher of arts and languages with 40 years experience in these fields. She helps artists to develop their own identities and values expression as a part of our daily lives. Diana holds a MA in The Arts in Education and an MA in Spanish Literature. She had a professional dance career 40 years and taught modern dance.

was born and raised in Stockton Al and have been sewing since middle school. She and her husband and raised two children. Deborah taught Special Needs students for 42 years. All types of fabric arts are of interest to her - embroidery, machine sewing, quilting, knitting and crochet. Mostly, She is self

Richard (Rich) Losier (Pensacola, FL)  is a graduate of Ringling School of Art. Rich worked as an illustrator and graphic artist with Abeka Book, a text book publishing company. The majority of his paintings are landscapes in a loose representational style. He enjoys teaching and sharing his expertise with students with all levels of experience.

RJ (Dick) McDermott (South Salem, NJ) holds a Bachelor’s degree in Painting from Carleton College. He worked as a set scenographer, painter and designer, was an organic farmer for 30 years and has returned to painting.

is an Outsider Artist who has been creating diverse work since childhood. Her unique three dimensional mixed media uses varied techniques to reference the natural environment. It is known for its saturated color, found objects, vintage jewelry, and semi/precious stones.

Zach Sierke (Fairhope, AL) is a renowned potter known for his unique wood-fired ceramics. He sources his clay locally, often digging it himself from historic deposits near waterways. His work is not only aesthetically pleasing, but also tells a story about the place it is made. Sierke believes his pottery should celebrate its origins in material, processes, and people.

is a retired public school teacher with a Master’s Degree in Special Education from the University of New Orleans. She began quilting as a hobby in the 1980’s and it has become her primary focus in retirement. She loves learning and teaching and believes that “practice makes progress.”

is inspired by the intrinsic beauty of forms in nature. She delights in using experimental art techniques to portray the flora, leaves, seed pods and seaweed she gathers on her coastal forages and nature walks. Whelan received her Bachelor of Fine Art from Auburn University and has received numerous awards for her work.
